The Prestwick Place designs are classic and timeless.
  
These terms and conditions shall apply in respect of all purchases from The Prestwick Place unless they are specifically varied in writing and signed by and on behalf of both The Prestwick Place and the purchaser of the Product (Purchaser). Unless otherwise set out in this Agreement, any reference to time shall be of the essence. If any provision of the contract or of these terms and conditions is held invalid or unenforceable for any reason or for any purpose, such invalidity or unenforceability shall not affect the remaining provisions if on deletion of the offending provision the remaining provisions of the contract can be given effect in line with the basic intention of the parties, and to this end any offending provision is declared to be severable. The Prestwick Place and the Purchaser agree that the proper law of the contract shall be that of the State of Queensland, and the parties agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Court of that State.
  
 
PRODUCTION
 
As the entire Prestwick Place process is a handmade and custom one, refunds or exchanges are not available.
Each item is crafted per your individual, unique order.
 
The Prestwick Place do not mass-produce or hold inventory of jewellery.
Once your order is placed our in-house jewellers begin working on crafting your piece from scratch, by hand.
 
The listed prices on each Prestwick Place ring reflect that of our signature solitaire setting only, without the inclusion of Pavé.
Pavé upgrades to the band, basket, claws or halo are an additional cost. 
The Prestwick Place pieces are all hand-made, custom per each order in Australia, using 18K Gold and Platinum only. 
All of our styles can be found online, with upgrades and pavé additions available via the Upgrade page. 
 
For those that opt for the addition of any pavé upgrade to their setting, our 'Important Notes on Adding Pavé To Your Setting' should be read before purchase. These notes can be found here. 
 
PRODUCTION TIMEFRAME

As the entire Prestwick Place process is a handmade and custom one, refunds or exchanges are not available. Each item is crafted per your individual, unique order.
 
The Prestwick Place do not mass-produce or hold inventory of jewellery. Once your order is placed our in-house jewellers begin working on crafting your piece from scratch, by hand.
 
During the months of January - October, our estimated lead time on each order is 4-7 weeks. 
During the Christmas / New Year period (Mid-October - December) standard lead time on each piece is roughly 5-9 weeks from date of payment. 
  
TERM OF SALE
 
The Prestwick Place service is an end to end digital experience meaning, you can select your size, metal and setting in the click of a button.
These Terms & Conditions are linked and listed prior to check out. 
At time of checkout, you will be asked to tick a box once you have throughly read this Terms & Conditions page. 
As each piece is handmade and made to order, payment in full is required prior to your order being processed and made. 
 
Once your order is received our artisans begin work hand crafting your ring from scratch.
 
If you do not know your ring size at time of checkout, please connect with our team in order to receive sizing guidance. 

STONE AVAILABILITY
 
The Prestwick Place stones are available in most shapes and carats. 
Larger stones are available by request. (5ct+)

If you have purchased a larger size carat (5ct+), please allow additional time for your ring to be made. 
 
DELIVERY
 
Once your ring is ready, it will be shipped directly to you via express post. 
Signature on delivery is required with each order. 
If you are not home at time of attempted delivery, your shipment will be taken to your local post office. 
Please note, attempted deliveries and a failure to collect your item will result in a 'return to sender' status on your order.
If your parcel is deemed undeliverable, please allow an additional 10 days for us to receive this order and initiate a reshipment.

Reshipment fees are the responsibility of the client. 
Prestwick Place are a closed workshop and studio.
Pickups are available from the Prestwick Place Parlour in Sorrento on the Gold Coast, by request only.
 
REFUND, EXCHANGE, CHANGE OF MIND
 
As our entire process is a handmade, custom one refunds or exchanges are not available. Each Prestwick Place item is crafted per the specs of your individual, unique order. The Prestwick Place do not mass-produce or hold inventory of jewellery. Once your order is placed our in-house jewellers begin working on crafting your piece from scratch, by hand. 
 
RESIZING AND REMAKING

As stated above, we urge you to consider the importance of confirming the correct size prior to undergoing our manufacturing process.

Prestwick Place offer a resize between 3 sizes - larger or smaller. This resize is subject to the ring being within our resizing parameters, if the ring is outside of these parameters it may be necessary to re-make the piece in order to maintain the structural integrity of the piece.

Resizing parameters can differentiate subject to the setting style and initial size of the ring. Our resize fee ranges from $150 - $700. Please contact us via email noting your order number, in order to discuss your resize. 

The costs related to undergo repairs, resizes and re-manufactures differentiate subject to the metal type and setting style. Resized pieces that require rhodium plating will be charged at a further cost.

WARRANTY AND REPAIRS

All Prestwick Place items come with a 6-month warranty from the purchase date (proof of purchase must be provided), covering all manufacturing faults. Please note, manufacturing faults do not include: damage or wear and tear, oxidised or faded plating, broken chains, cracked or broken stones or the bending of rings or earrings etc. If a manufacturing fault is detected in the first 6 months of purchase, we will repair these free of charge.

Prestwick Place extends a limited lifetime warranty for all Moissanite Engagement and Wedding Ring designs. This limited lifetime warranty is extended to clientele for the purpose of eliminating production faults in the rare occurrence that they are not picked up in our quality control procedures.

Our limited lifetime warranty is considered void if the original purchaser contracts a third-party jeweller to undertake alterations, or if signs of damage caused by extreme misuse are visible.
Any Prestwick Place pieces with the addition of Pavé on the setting will have a 6 month warranty on the pavé. Please see our full notes on pavé here.

Jewellery repairs that are not covered by our limited lifetime warranty will incur a charge based on relative repairs undertaken to the piece to its original condition. 
 
COMMUNICATION & SOCIAL MEDIA

At Prestwick Place, we understand the importance of privacy and trust. As most of our client communications are conducted through social media, we are aware of your social media handles. Please be assured that, unless you request otherwise, Prestwick Place may occasionally reshare images from your public profiles. These images will exclusively feature engagements or proposals from our clients and will be shared in a respectful and celebratory manner within the Prestwick Place community.
  
CUSTOM DESIGN
 
As each piece from Prestwick Place is handcrafted, any custom designs created at your request will become the intellectual property of Prestwick Place. All changes and design features that Prestwick Place create become the intellectual property of Prestwick Place.
