A half East-West adjustment is when the centre stone itself, is placed in an unconventional orientation (half horizontal) on the ring band. This gives the engagement setting a very modern and unique look and is a wonderful contrast to the classic styles you see day to day.

This half east-west setting is a unisex adjustment. By simply turning your stone slightly on its side, classic cuts — such as emerald, pear, oval, and marquise cut — are given a fresh and unique perspective.
