Our Hammered setting pairs a crisp D colour Old Mine diamond with a richly textured, hand-finished hammered alloy setting. Designed with a thickened profile, the setting both secures and protects the larger centre stone while allowing the whimsy and charm of the rare elongated Old Mine diamond to remain the focal point.
Each piece is individually hand-hammered, creating natural depth, character, and a soft light play unique to every ring. The seamless tapering of the Old Mine diamond into the band gives the design a fluid, sculptural feel, as though the diamond and alloy were formed as one.
Beyond its beauty, a hammered setting is inherently practical. Its textured finish offers a richness and depth that feels entirely unique, resulting in a piece that brings a sense of quiet opulence and presence on the hand.
A refined point of difference; modern, enduring, and entirely one of one.
A note from Bec:
Hammered alloy! It gives the body of the setting texture, depth, and character unlike anything else. Both the top and bottom of the Old Mine diamond meld seamlessly into the band, with the hammering so carefully executed that the diamond’s body appears to taper effortlessly into its setting. These pieces are crafted by hand, and it’s something I’m deeply proud of and passionate about. If you're here for a something charming, romantic, whimsical and rare - the combination of the Old Mine diamond in the hammered setting is not one to pass by. It's a piece that you won't see flooding the market, its a design that is extremely uncommon and with the inclusion of an Old Mine diamond, its likely you'll never see anything like this setting - anywhere else!

Why D Colour?
Diamond colour is typically graded on a scale descending from D, which means no hint of colour, to Z. A well-cut D colour lab-diamond has a bright, icy white appearance that looks stunningly beautiful.
It is important to note that D colour diamonds are valuable because they are rare, and we believe in providing excellence over cutting corners when it comes to the colour of a Lab-grown diamond.
The Prestwick Diamond is a lab-created stone, meaning it is both ethically and responsibly sourced.
