The Prestwick Place Lab-Grown Diamonds are in fact real diamonds and offer the same brilliance, sparkle, and shine of a natural, mined diamond.

A cushion cut diamond is a combination of a more modern and round brilliant cut pattern diamond with a classic, old mine facet pattern diamond cut. Simply put, a cushion cut diamond combines a square cut with rounded corners, giving it an appearance similar to a pillow. This is where the “cushion cut” name comes from. The cushion cut or the “pillow cut” has straight edges with soft, rounded corners and strategic facets to highlight the stone's brilliance.

A lab-grown diamond should be considered and treated just as a natural diamond would as it contains the exact same properties as naturally formed diamonds.
The only thing that makes a lab-grown diamond different from a mined diamond is its origin.

A lab-grown diamond touches fewer hands, is conflict-free, they are less ecologically damaging than a mined diamond and they are 30% to 50% less expensive than their earth mined diamond equivalents.

Our Cushion Cut Lab-Diamond is a shape that works perfectly when set in both a modern or vintage setting.

Why SI1?

SI1 (Slightly Included)

Although an SI1 diamond isn't flawless, SI diamond grades are beautiful and valuable. Although they are slightly included, most often, no one will come close enough to even see or identify inclusions.

Typically SI diamonds may have inclusions that are eye visible, but generally the inclusions cannot be wholly identified, unless magnified.

VVS1 and VS1 diamonds have better clarity than SI1 graded stones however, SI1 diamonds do offer great value, especially when paired with D colouring and 'Excellent' to 'Ideal' cuts.

Why D Colour?
Diamond colour is typically graded on a scale descending from D, which means no hint of colour, to Z.  A well-cut D colour lab-diamond has a bright, icy white appearance that looks stunningly beautiful.
It is important to note that D colour diamonds are valuable because they are rare, and we believe in providing excellence over cutting corners when it comes to the colour of a Lab-grown diamond.

The Prestwick Diamond is a lab-created stone, meaning it is both ethically and responsibly sourced.
